The Delegation of the European Union to Mongolia has celebrated the richness and diversity of European culture through Europe Day, an exhibition featuring the European Union, its member States, cultural institutes and European companies. The Caritas Czech Republic in Mongolia has introduced the EU-funded projects and its activities for the benefiting people around Mongolia. The event was taken place on Sukhbaatar square on Saturday 28 May.

Mongolia has an active and diverse group of civil society organisations that are accelerating the development of the country. Waste is not only harmful to the environment and human health but it also creates an economic loss. In Mongolia, we do not have a recycling system in place, therefore, almost all waste is collected and dumped at unofficial and uncontrolled landfills, after which it is burned.
